The Hit TV Series The G Now Streaming on Amazon Prime Video

The hit TV Series The G is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video. Season Three contains five new episodes jam-packed with suspense, drama and an unexpected storyline twist.

Executive Producer, Creator, Writer and Director Brandon Bowens released the Pilot and Season One on April 28, 2018, followed by Season Two shortly after. This dramatic TV series depicts life in the underworld of Gary, Indiana, and has an array of politics, criminal exploits and historical fiction.

“The first two Seasons of the show received some great reviews,” said Brandon Bowens. “I just wanted to create a TV series drama based and centered around my home town of Gary, Indiana; giving the town some additional positive spotlight.”

The cast of Season Three is Actor Antoine McKay (who has appeared on Empire, South Side and Patriot) as Councilman John “John Lyles” Battle, newly added to the cast; James Gordon (who has appeared on Chicago Fire) as Officer Smiley; William L. Johnson (who has appeared on Blue Hill Ave) as Brother Bill; Guy Spencer revives his role as Antwain; Donny Williams (who has appeared on Heaven on Seven) portrays Detective Johnson; Darious Lyles, (a contestant on The Voice Season 18) guest stars as D. Lylez; and Brandon Bowens is Bernard.

The storyline of Season Three starts off showing Officer Smiley, who was a high school classmate of Councilman Battle, having inner turmoil and second thoughts about how he views Councilman Battle; which is as nothing more than a slick criminal. Meanwhile, Brother Bill is missing and presumed to be dead, and Antwain reclaims control over the criminal organization in Brother Bill’s absence. D. Lylez is a performer who Bernard hires to facilitate money laundering as a club owner of the Loft nightclub; and Detective Johnson’s marriage is in turmoil because he refuses to retire. Finally, as the pandemic sets in, an unarmed black man is shot.
