MIAMI, April 19, 2022 (Newswire.com) – Founded in Miami, Rav.ai is a technology startup that aims to automate social media video editing. After being featured at last year’s eMerge Americas conference as an MIT Technology Review 35under35 Entrepreneur in Artificial Intelligence, founder Jonas Cleveland launches Rav.ai at the return of the conference this year.
Cleveland says, “Not all of us can afford Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s social media team. But wouldn’t it be great if we could? The barrier to creating engaging content is often time. But your social media presence is not only crucial for your business (think Instagram) but your career growth (think LinkedIn). We are offering a straight path to growing your engagement and influence on these platforms.” Cleveland says Rav.ai has been working with digital agencies, real estate professionals, e-learning coaches, and aspiring influencers. Rav.ai can integrate with a user’s post history. “Many of our users say the videos feel like something that they would create themselves, just better.”
How it works:
Rav.ai is a cloud-based web platform that enables users to upload their raw video footage and provides professionally edited video back in moments. One of the most popular features of the application is the ability for a user to have their video edited using another video as an inspiration template. Users are able to resubmit revisions with comments until they are satisfied with their project.
Rav.ai edits include soundtrack, visual effects, text graphics, transitions, and video pacing. Users are able to upload videos, audio, and image files separately, which allows for endless possibilities in creation.
Why it matters:
Rav.ai is the first auto-content generation platform for video. Text-based auto-content generation platforms such as Copy.Ai, Jasper.AI, and Writer.com have increasingly become indispensable weapons for bloggers, Twitter influencers, and news writers. As video increasingly becomes the most important medium on the internet, the impact of Rav.ai is positioned to be significant.
Rav.ai is not video editing software. Instead, the company competes with video production agencies and freelancers. Rav.ai pulls recorded user data (their post history) to integrate their preferences while maximizing engagement. The company is an example of the ability of Artificial Intelligence based coaching.
